Craft Fair Today at 4:00

Annual Village Craft Fair

TODAY, December 12th

4:00 pm to 6:00 pm

We hope everyone will be able to join us for this special evening.

The children will have an opportunity to make gifts for friends and family (or themselves) in different crafting stations sprinkled among the classrooms.  We'll have a chance to make photo frames (with photos taken on-site OR bring in a favorite), snow globes, wooden succulent planters, gnomes, glass ornament globes, and more.

There will be no charge for crafts this year.

Small donations are welcome to help cover the costs of materials.

Thanks to all of you who have already signed up to help run a craft station or had made a contribution for our Craft Fair!

School back in session on Wednesday, November 14th

Dear VCS Families and Staff,

Based on  discussion with the WUSD Superintendent and the health department, VCS will be open tomorrow, Wednesday, 11/14. According to several sources of data, the AQI is projected to improve, though it is anticipated that we will continue to experience poor air quality through the weekend. We will open tomorrow with indoor policies in place and air filters on in each room. There will be no morning circle as scheduled and students arriving early are to go straight to the extended care room. If you feel it is best to keep your child(ren) home for additional days, please do not hesitate to contact the school for Independent Study. Masks are encouraged, especially for those with asthma or other respiratory conditions.

Of course, if significant changes happen overnight we will monitor and make changes if necessary.

We ask that for the remainder of this week after school extended care only be used by those truly needing this service.

Again, thank you for your patience and flexibility as we wade through the different needs of all of our families during this difficult time.

Warmly,
Rebecca Ivanoff, Director
