In-Person Instruction Update

After much discussion and analysis of the feedback from our survey, VCS has come up with a revised schedule and we will be ready to offer in-person instruction with a target date of April 5th. It is anticipated that Sonoma County will be in the red tier soon, allowing us to offer in-person instruction to all students K-8.

In-Person Instruction—Meetings and Extended Care

Next week, I will be hosting multiple zoom informational meetings and you will be hearing from your child’s teacher about what students need when they are on campus.

It is our goal to offer Extended Care to those in need, keeping students in their stable group for this service. We will be reaching out soon to get clarity on who will be needing EC.

Please take extra care to read all VCS EMAILS, CLASS EMAILS and VCS TEXTS during these next several weeks. Our success with this next step is dependent on you being up to date on all communications regarding in-person instruction.

A more detailed letter is being sent out today and is attached to this bulletin.

7th Annual Creek Clean-a-thon! Save the Date!

APRIL 17, 2021… Save the Date... 7th Annual Creek Clean-a-thon!

VCS has been rocking this service-based fundraiser since 2014. The collective and cumulative impact we have had on our natural environment while being stellar community members and stewards of the Earth is seriously impressive… guess how many pounds of trash we have collected in total since our 1st annual???

GUESS HOW MANY POUNDS CHALLENGE: Submit your guesses of how many trash pounds of we have cleaned up for all 6 years combined to VCS. The family that comes the closest wins (a small but fantastic) prize! When it comes to being part of VCS and this year’s 7th Annual Clean-a-thon we are all winners!

Emma will be taking school photos every Friday (beginning 2/12) between 9:30 and 2:00 (earlier is encouraged for the better light), no appointment necessary.  You can find Emma in Room 22 or contact the office once you arrive.

Summer Camp 2021—June 16-July 30, 8:00-5:00
