Village Charter School Summer Camp

We are hoping to host our VCS summer Camp again this year. It is important that we know if there is interest and people willing to commit.

Please fill out the attached form and let us know if you're wanting your child(ren) to participate by April 15, 2019!

If there is not enough interest by this date, camp may have to cancel – let’s not let that happen!

Do you take pictures at school events or while volunteering in classrooms and on field trips?

Contribute them to the yearbook! You can send them to Emma (, or bring in a flash drive or memory card for a quick offload before or after school in Mr. Robbins' classroom.

We would appreciate anything you have, but especially need more pictures of:

  • Field Trips!!
  • Buddies activities
  • Art of all kinds
  • Science experiments
  • Harvest Hoedown
  • Craft Fair
  • Winter Solstice
  • Dia de los Muertos

Weather Reminder

We do not anticipate a school closure however during times of heavy rain parents should check their email and also listen to KSRO 1350 AM, 103.5 FM or 94.5 FM prior to leaving your house in the morning following the instruction for Piner Olivet Unified School District - Northwest Prep Campus. You can also access the SCOE school closure webpage.

Rainy Weather Clothing: Every day our children go outside, rain or shine. Children may get wet and sometimes muddy. It is important that they have appropriate rain gear. Every child should have a hooded rain jacket and rubber boots. There will be a space in every classroom for raingear to be kept at school.

National Arts Program

Several of our students submitted art to the National Arts Program. All of their work is on display in the Finley Center through March 30th. If you have the time, it’s worth the free visit! Look for students from Miss Kristen’s, Ashley!’s, and Mr. Robbins’s class!
